All Welcome! Free entry to view and enjoy the displays in the Museum, including:

OHS Historical Journals

  • Copies of past Journals on display

  • Items of interest from the setup of the first journal

  • Past and current journals available for purchase excluding Vols 1,2,3,4,5,11 and 18 which are out of print

 

Journal Index

  • Committee members will be on site to help with searching the online index to find articles and/or names of interest

  • Digitised articles available for purchase

Otaki Mail

  • Display will outline history of the Otaki Mail

  • First issue from 1919 will be on display

Photographs

  • Folders containing copies and descriptions of photographs held by the society available for perusal

  • Copies of photographs can be purchased

Newsletters and Minutes

  • Originals of these have been copied and will be available for reading/inspection

Otaki Genealogy Society

  • This group will have a display with many items to assist with researching your whanau

Scrapbooks

  • A selection of scrapbooks containing OHS and Otaki history over the past 40 years available for reading

Lucky Draw

  • All subscriptions paid during August will go into a draw to win $50.00.

Other

  • Copies of the information on the lives of WW1 Otaki  servicemen as researched by the Genealogy Society and displayed at an earlier exhibition will be available to view

  • Photographs and articles covering the activities and achievements of the OHS during the past 40 years will be on view.

  • Assistance available from OHS members to help visitors with research, queries and purchases.
